State of NE slowpitch softball...as of 5/21/20

Updated: Jul 8

As many are aware, today 5/21/20 the governor of Nebraska updated his comments to include both youth and adult non contact sports to begin resuming practice June 1st, games to be June 18th. Some have messaged me asking if games = tournaments? Well, I called the governors office to ask (402-471-2244 option 5)...

In so many words, it does mean tournaments as well. There will be new guidelines yet to be announced officially as this all is an ongoing, fluid matter (delay between games to sanitize, limited fan attendance and other measures tbd)

I know it may not be exactly what we want as players/fans, but let’s look at it as a positive step to getting back to the game we all love and other activities we equally love. So here’s to being 1 step closer to getting you free koozies!
